Welcome to Your Stage Coach

What is Your Stage Coach? It is a blog. It is a business. It is the culmination of almost 30 years of training and experience as a performer–actor, dancer, storyteller–director and educator.
You will find as you peruse my website or read my blog, that my language is filled with theater and acting references. Theater is my background; Acting and Performance my education. (Of course, there was also a lot of International travel at a young age and four years at Columbia University studying Russian Literature. They had their influences as well and will likely creep into my writing.) It is through the world of theater, my education as an actor, the filter of a performer that I have come to understand MOST of what I know. I caution you to think that these lessons are not relevant to the average, “REAL” person. They are. Abundantly so. For, as William Shakespeare put it so nicely: “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women players on it.” I will strive to draw the connections–the universal relevance–of the lessons from my life as a performer, to highlight them in ways that you can absorb them and make them your own.
I appreciate your openness to the Life and Communication lessons I’ve learned from Theater. I hope their influence is as positive on your life as they have been on my own.
